Our hospitals

Five physical locations serving Madurai, Sivakasi, Srivilliputhur, and Sattur.

Your first visit

Plan for about two to three hours in total.

Registration

Bring any previous prescriptions, glasses, reports, a list of your medicines, and your insurance card if you have one.

Preliminary checks

A refractionist checks your vision with and without glasses, your eye pressure and, where needed, your blood pressure; photographs of the retina and colour-vision or eye-muscle tests may be done.

Dilating drops

Most first visits include drops that widen the pupil so the doctor can examine the retina. They take 20–40 minutes to work and blur your vision for a few hours. Do not drive yourself home; bring sunglasses.

Final glasses check

Your glasses power is rechecked after dilation where needed.

Consultation

The ophthalmologist examines your eyes fully, explains the findings, and discusses treatment or glasses.

In an emergency

If you experience sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, chemical injury, or physical trauma to the eye, do not wait for an appointment or form callback. Call our hospital emergency lines immediately or proceed to the nearest casualty department:

Insurance and cashless treatment

Many health-insurance policies cover eye surgery such as cataract surgery. If your son or daughter has employer health insurance, check whether it covers parents — many do. Bring the policy card or number to your appointment; our insurance desk will check whether cashless treatment is available and what you may need to pay.

Insurers & TPAs we work with: Star Health, Medi Assist, Vidal Health, MDIndia, Heritage Health, Paramount, ICICI Lombard, New India Assurance, United India, National Insurance, Oriental Insurance, and Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS).

Questions about appointments

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Walk-in patients are welcome at all branches during regular consulting hours. Urgent cases and post-operative reviews are prioritised; for routine consultations, booking ahead reduces waiting times.

Can I choose my doctor?

Yes. You can select your preferred doctor on the request form or mention their name when our front desk calls you. Each specialist's clinical schedule is listed on their profile.

Can I get a second opinion?

Yes. Please bring all previous test results, scans, corneal maps, and prescriptions from your other consultations so our doctors can provide an informed second opinion.

How long are my reports kept?

Your electronic medical records and imaging scans are archived securely in our hospital system. Physical case records are retained in compliance with Medical Council guidelines and DPDP privacy provisions.
